Sparky has passed her Temperament Test

Sparky entered our lives on August 17^th , 2005. She was born in our living room. Sparky is a black and tan dual- Tango's daughter, Maddy's niece.

We had first pick from the litter (in conjunction with New Zion) and chose Sparky for several reasons. When she was with her litter mates we named all of the pups- her puppy name was Twinkles. She was usually the first pup to greet you upon entering the room and would just soak up any attention she was given. There were larger pups in the litter but they came with harder temperaments. I hadn't told Lisa which pup I had my eye on but when the Litter Evaluation was complete, she came out as Medium-Soft and Show Quality! So the choice was easy! At one year old she has more energy than both her dad or her aunt (Thanks to Momma Sage!) but still loves to cuddle on the couch like her old man. Also, like her dad, she sounds the alarm if someone comes on the property. She follows her Aunt Maddy around outside (although she is becoming more independent) and regularly jumps on her dad's head to let him know who the boss really is! In the house she is never far from me and has again proven to be like her dad in that she is very easy to train.

Sparky will be starting regular obedience and tracking classes this fall, 2006.
